Paul Ross (Intermediate) started dancing at the tender age of fourteen. Various Jedi Knights have questioned him about his age but he refuses to answer - instead he suggests that we seek out the ever elusive Peter Pan for an answer. Paul used to hang out at all the places to be seen in London including the 100 club, Lyceum with Capital Radio and the Empire Ballroom. Jazz and Soul dancing were his first loves.
Paul originally stopped dancing when he reached 20 years of age. This was so until he found a little salsa club in Harrow over six years ago and was hooked from that point on. In his own words, he loves the look and feel of dancing salsa. His thinking in relation to how he teaches is to embrace and enjoy the momement, never forgetting to make your partner look and feel fantastic.
Paul has taught regularly in London for the likes of Robert Charlemagne and Mambo City. He cites as his inspiration all those dancers who seek not to just embark on an aerobic workout but seek to find the beauty in this wonderful dance.
